Hi Dona! Cape Henlopen is EXCELLENT for bird watching as is the whole area. Next month when the horseshoe crabs hit the beaches to lay eggs is always a great time for watching shore birds too. I have found out that a lot of the birds I see in flight around here and thought were hawks are actually buzzards. Blech. But we do have a lot of red tailed hawks in the area and there’s a population of monk parakeets nearby as well.
