Reading Challenge 2019

The Challenge

Trying to read a book a week again.

The Currently reading List

  • Points of View: An Anthology of Short Stories edited by James Moffett & Kenneth R. McElheny: Part of my personal library and something I’ve not read before. Pretty good, boring and confusing at times.
  • A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin: I am reading a 1008 page anthology of all the Earthsea books over the course of the year — but am going to count each book as one book, and not the entire collection as one. I’ve been meaning to read this, and am semi-enjoying it. I am only reading 3 pages a day, so it might take me a while to get into it.
  • Bruno, Chief of Police: A Mystery of the French Countryside by Martin Walker: This was a bookgroup selection last month and I never got around to enjoying it. I tried, I even bought the audio version, but couldn’t get into it. I decided to start over, on Audible, and I like it much more than I did last month. I wonder what’s different.
  • Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty: I have not actually started this but I know I will like it because I have liked the author’s books in the past. This is my kindle book.
