The robins have been very busy in our backyard lately – gathering building material for nests and snapping up worms for their young. Our neighbor has a nest in her holly tree – lucky woman.
Here is Michael Jackson singing Rockin’ Robin.

Fun show last night. Dave Wakeling is one cheerful fellow! The Birchmere was packed – busier than I’ve ever seen it. Most people were at least swaying – if not outright dancing.
It kind of looked like this, but the crowd was younger and there were more people (this one cracks me up though:
Here they are singing it. It sounds like Dave is saying “I used to sing this song to my liver.” (he said the same thing at the concert) Perhaps he did say that – he made quite a few references to drinking and he didn’t drink anything but water. Maybe he gave it up to save his liver.
Note: While this was actually written on Sunday, May 27, I’m pretending it was written Thursday, May 24.
Going to see the English Beat tonight at the Birchmere. My husband has a few of their albums – and played them a lot a while ago, but I don’t remember much of what they wrote. Just looked them up and saw they sing Mirror in the Bathroom.
I know that song…
