My Grandma Green’s oldest sister, Auntie Phyllis, was a communicator. I can’t tell you how many letters to Grandma, mom, and me, I tossed during our Great Knee Wall Purge. I did keep one thing though — it was in a high school graduation card I received from Auntie Phyllis. She often sent us cards — usually containing a couple of dollars along with a hand crocheted handkerchief. This one was no exception. It’s exquisite.
