Grandma Patrick kept this cover of the Prairie Farmer newspaper from 1952 because it had Grandpa’s writing on it. I wonder who Grandpa voted for, Eisenhower or Stevenson.
On the bottom she wrote: This I found after Dad’s passing, perhaps the only writing of his we have. It’s Franks writing he put mustache on the man, etc. (he did have humor).


I love seeing your Grandpa’s handwriting. It made me think that I don’t think I own anything with my father’s writing. And I’ve never ever seen his father’s writing. And then I got emotional.
