As a Canadian, I would like to request the east and west coast states, and Hawaii. Some other country can have the midwest.

Helen — I understand you completely, but I grew up in the Midwest. Perhaps there can be pockets of Canada in approved Midewstern towns.

IB — I know! It is already happening though — I mentioned Helen’s comment in an online group to which I belong and a woman from the Midwest seemed slightly disgruntled and pointed out that the Midwest did have the best farmland, so Canada should be happy to have the Midwest.
